The event was dedicated to debates on solutions for modernizing the public administration, both in terms of technology and in terms of procedures and work processes.<\/p><p>The agenda of the event, organized with the support of HP Inc. Romania, as a Strategic Partner, also included discussions on cybersecurity, the integration of Artificial Intelligence in printing\/copying equipment, increasing work performance using AI, encouraging the circular economy, sustainable procurement and strategies in public procurement of IT equipment. Among the invited speakers were \u0218tefan R\u0103dulescu &#8211; Senior Cybersecurity Manager at the National Directorate of Cybersecurity, Alina Sp\u0103t\u0103relu &#8211; Lawyer &#8211; public procurement, Mugur Pantaia &#8211; Managing Director HP Inc Romania and Mario Boro, ECE Print Category Manager &#8211; HP, as well as Iulian Alecu &#8211; Strategic Business Developer at Safetech Innovations.<\/p><p>Iulian Alecu addressed the topic &#8220;NIS2 Directive \u2013 integrated security perspective, new concepts and approaches, advantages and practical implications&#8221;, with a focus on the provisions concerning public administration entities. The representative of Safetech Innovations provided clarifications regarding the public entities that fall under the scope of NIS 2. The entities of the central public administration fall under the scope of the Directive with the classification of essential entities. As part of the process of transposing the Directive into national law, Member States may decide that NIS 2 should also apply to local public administration entities and educational institutions, in particular where they carry out critical research activities.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-187803f elementor-widget elementor-widget-image\" data-id=\"187803f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"image.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"780\" height=\"519\" src=\"https:\/\/safetech.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/get-4.webp\" class=\"attachment-large size-large wp-image-25074\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/safetech.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/get-4.webp 1024w, https:\/\/safetech.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/get-4-300x200.webp 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 780px) 100vw, 780px\" \/>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1ff598f elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"1ff598f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Iulian Alecu also summarized the most important obligations of the Member States and of the designated competent authorities, in transposing the NIS 2 Directive into national legislation.
