Safetech – Cynet Webinar: “Cyber Resilience Starts with Simplicity”

Webinar Safetech – Cynet: „Cyber Resilience Starts with Simplicity”

On May 18, together with the partners from Cynet, Safetech organized a webinar dedicated to one of the biggest challenges in modern cybersecurity: the excessive complexity of security architectures.

Organizations tend to constantly add new disparate tools – firewalls, EDRs, SIEMs, cloud solutions – leading to a fragmented, unmanageable environment prone to human error. In this context, the partnership between Safetech Innovations and Cynet proposes an approach based on simplification, consolidation and automation.

Through the native Cynet 360 AutoXDR platform, integrated with the continuous monitoring services offered by Safetech CERT, companies can replace a group of traditional point solutions with a single unified interface. The result: reduced incident investigation time by up to 90% and eliminated visibility gaps caused by lack of integration between solutions.

Cynet’s Technology Perspective

The first presentation was dedicated to how XDR (Extended Detection and Response) technology can simplify incident management and why strengthening security solutions is the direction of the future.

During this session, held by Julianna Pihlar Regional Sales Southeast Europe, Cynet Security, the huge pressure that IT and Cybersecurity teams are subjected to due to the massive volume of alerts – a phenomenon known as alert fatigue – was discussed. Cynet demonstrated how its platform unifies multiple layers of security – endpoint, network, user and cloud protection – into a single integrated interface. The presentation highlighted:

• The pitfalls of multi-vendor architectures

When a company uses 15-20 distinct solutions, visibility “holes” inevitably arise because these systems do not natively communicate with each other.

• Investigation Automation (AutoXDR)

The platform not only detects threats, but automatically initiates a complete investigation process: it identifies the source of the attack, correlates relevant events, analyzes associated files, and executes remediation steps, saving hundreds of hours of manual work.

• Democratizing security

Average organizations can now benefit from a level of resilience comparable to that of large corporations, without the need for extensive teams of in-house analysts.

“We are witnessing an oppressive reality: attackers act in minutes, while organizations sometimes need months to identify and fix breaches. Complexity is the main adversary of cybersecurity because it limits visibility, control, and responsiveness. From Cynet’s perspective, organizations that use fewer security tools, but that they know and use effectively, are much better performing than those that operate dozens of solutions that are only partially used,” said Julianna Pihlar.

Safetech Innovations’ operational approach

The second part of the webinar, held by Laurențiu Blidaru, cybersecurity analyst at Safetech, had a practical character and focused on how the Cynet platform helps security operations teams improve their visibility and efficiency.

The demonstration highlighted the complementarity of an advanced platform like Cynet with continuous monitoring provided by experts capable of making quick decisions in the event of a complex cyber threat. The focus has thus shifted from technology to the human component and operational processes.

The technical moment of the webinar included a presentation of the working interface and how the Cynet platform brings order and clarity to the daily volume of security data. The demonstration focused on visibility, prioritization, and complete operational context.

The demonstration highlighted:

• Centralized Alert Inventory

The platform aggregates all incidents into a unified and easy-to-track list. Each alert is given a clear and descriptive name, reducing technical ambiguity.

• Severity-based triage

The system automatically classifies alerts based on risk level (Low, Medium, High, Critical), allowing SOC teams to immediately prioritize real threats and eliminate the “background noise”.

• Full context for analysis and response to incidents that were not automatically addressed

For each alert, the platform provides detailed information about the users involved, affected systems, suspicious processes and the associated behavioral history.

“The challenge for any SOC analyst is that they have too many tools at their disposal, which generates a huge volume of alerts and consumes a lot of time. At the same time, the reaction must be fast and precise in order to comply with the assumed SLAs. That’s why automating repetitive tasks – log analysis, threat detection, and incident response – becomes essential for reducing errors and increasing operational efficiency. This is exactly what the Cynet platform does: it reduces noise and prioritizes relevant information, so that, instead of 20 alerts, the analyst receives only one, really important,” says Laurențiu Blidaru.

During the demonstration, it was highlighted that the Cynet platform is not limited to displaying incidents, but also provides proactive recommendations on policies and configurations that need to be adjusted to prevent vulnerable situations from occurring in the future. The platform can be assimilated to a security consultant who not only identifies problems, but also indicates the standards that have been violated and recommends the necessary actions for remediation.

Safetech Innovations and Cynet: technology and expertise in an integrated model

A central point of the webinar was the explanation of the synergy between the two companies. The partnership between Safetech Innovations and Cynet is not only a commercial one, but a deeply operational one.

Safetech integrates the Cynet 360 AutoXDR platform directly into its core incident monitoring and response services – Safetech CERT / SOC. Thus, customers simultaneously benefit from advanced technology, capable of simplifying infrastructure by eliminating redundant solutions, and local expertise available 24/7, offered by analysts who know the specifics of the Romanian market and the requirements of European legislation.

In practice, Cynet provides the automated engine and complete visibility over the infrastructure, and Safetech ensures rapid monitoring, calibration and intervention in case of critical incidents.
