The agenda of the event included a series of conferences and panels on topics such as training and continuous professional training in transport, freight forwarding and logistics, challenges and opportunities in intermodal transport, insurance, but also the air transport market within the Air Cargo Connect event. The guests also participated in discussions on smart solutions, sustainability, digitalization and cybersecurity in the transport and logistics industry. Among the speakers who contributed were Turgut Erkeskin (President of the International Federation of Freight Forwarders Association, FIATA), Marius Cae (President of USER), Claudiu Staicu (Director General of the Directorate General for European Transport Projects – Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure), and Dimitar Pavlov (Chief Commercial Officer Transmetrics – AI & Big Data Analytics Applications for Trucking).

On the second day of the event, Iulian Alecu, Strategic Business Developer at Safetech Innovations, gave the presentation “NIS 2 Directive – integrated security perspective, news, advantages and practical implications”.

The Safetech representative presented a series of cyber attacks with a particular impact on the transport industry, globally, between 2023 and 2024.
